Course Format
This course is available both in-person and online. In-person courses include a live cupping and demonstration. For remote participation, you’ll need reliable internet access and a laptop or tablet.

What You’ll Learn
This course gives a general overview of the specialty coffee supply chain and explores topics such as history and cultivation, variables that affect coffee quality, basics of sensory analysis, fundamentals of roasting, factors of coffee freshness, and principles of brewing. Learners will also discuss the importance of water quality, equipment cleanliness, and maintenance.

Course Fees
$275 — includes instruction (in-person recommended or online available by request), coffee supplies, course materials (digital or print).
Assessment
No practical exam is required. A written exam will be delivered via email. You’ll have 21 days to complete it, with two attempts allowed. A passing score is 60%.
