Grown organically, plucked in the first flush of the season, the leaves are steamed to stop oxidation, dried and rolled leaving a refreshing bright vegetable-ish taste and a clean finish on the palate.
Sencha teas are said to lower cholesterol, stimulate weight loss, oxygenate the blood, fight free radicals, and boost the immune system.
Steep 2-3 minutes with +/- 175ºF fresh heated water.
