Sulawesi coffee, grown in the mountainous highlands of the island of Sulawesi in the Kalossi region of Indonesia, is a highly sought-after specialty coffee known for its rich, full-bodied, and complex flavor profile with very low acidity.

The beans are cultivated on small family farms using traditional organic methods. The unique “wet-hulling” process common in Indonesia contributes to the coffee’s distinctive earthy notes and heavy, silky body.

The flavor profile has deep, earthy undertones, warm spices (like cinnamon, cardamom, or black pepper), and notes of chocolate, caramel, molasses, and sometimes subtle fruit notes (like raisin or dried plum).
